Our mission amplified: BBC News interviews Beate Hjeltnes

Monday, February 16th, 2026

We are thrilled to share that Beate Hjeltnes, our Chief Executive Officer and Chairperson of the Board, was invited to speak today for an interview with BBC News. Beate offered valuable insights and an inspiring perspective on our mission and vision.

“Feeling grateful to have been invited to speak live to Ben Thompson on the BBC news program, ‘Business Today.’ It was a privilege to represent Norwex – the company my father founded – and convey our global mission,” Beate said.

“Thank you to the BBC team for posing such thoughtful questions and giving me an opportunity to highlight our commitment to eliminating harmful chemicals from the home environment. Engaging in these high-level conversations is vital as we continue to advocate for healthier living, worldwide. It was wonderful to be surrounded by my family whilst I did the interview and feel the support of Consultants and partners around the globe. Nerve-wracking, but totally worth it!

“I look forward to continuing such conversations with the media (and other audiences) to share our passion for sustainable, safe solutions. Every conversation we have with people – no matter how big or small the group – is a step in the right direction. Even if they go on to make a small change to what they use on their skin or at home, it ALL adds up to a big step in the right direction.”
